Sports Jam, June 20, 2016
This week on the season finale of Channel 12’s Sports Jam, highlights from the semifinals of the state baseball tournament as both Champlin Park and Wayzata advance to the championship game in Class AAAA. Also on the show highlights from the state golf and lacrosse tournaments and John Jacobson and Jay Wilcox unveil the picks for the 2016 Sports Jam all-area teams in baseball and softball. Plus our Plays of the Week.

Sports Jam, June 13, 2016
This week on Channel 12's Sports Jam, highlights from the second day of the state track and field meet as several local athletes win medals and the Wayzata boys win their second straight state title. Also on the show highlights from section baseball as three local teams reach the state tournament in Class AAAA. Plus highlights from section lacrosse play and state tennis including a championship for Breck. In this week’s Sports Jam Spotlight Jason Melillo profiles Champlin Park three-sport athlete Aaron Kloeppner who will play in the state tournament this week for the Rebels’ baseball team. Also Jay Wilcox interviews Maple Grove girls Clare McLean, Grace Ford and head coach Haley Corradi as the Crimson prepares to play in the state tournament. Plus our Plays of the Week segment.

This week on Channel 12's Sports Jam, highlights from section competition in lacrosse, baseball, softball, golf and track and field, plus state adapted softball. In this week’s Sports Jam Spotlight John Jacobson profiles Wayzata lacrosse and hockey player Amar Batra. The senior is the leading scorer for this year’s Trojans boys lacrosse team. Also Jay Wilcox interviews Hopkins softball players Makenzie Merritt and Natalie DenHartog as the Royals celebrate a section championship. Plus our Plays of the Week segment.

This week on Channel 12's Sports Jam, highlights from the first round of tournament play in Section 6AAAA baseball as Wayzata and Hopkins each win twice. Also on the show highlights from section softball and tennis and more. In this week’s Sports Jam Spotlight Jay Wilcox profiles Armstrong track standout Evan McClellon who recently set the state record in the 100 meters. Also John Jacobson interviews Hopkins baseball players Geoff Cooper, Jon Koch and head coach Pat Berger. The Royals have advanced to the winner’s bracket final of the Section 6AAAA baseball tournament. Plus our Plays of the Week segment.
